The Lamperd Firearms training System projects a video image on the screen through a video projector. The projected image
is computer generated by the video training software.
The simulated weapon (ie M4/C8, Machineguns, Hanguns, Rocket Launcher, Less Lethal Launcher, and Electronic Less
than Lethal Appliances) generates a short laser pulse (that is aligned with the sights) when the trigger is pulled.
A video camera provides the hit detection of the laser strike to the screen. The camera driver software provides the
system software with the location of the laser strike. The system software correlates the laser strike location and timing
with the projected video image to generate the desired training scenerio.
